Some students spent most of their school years with missionaries or white teachers and naturally picked up that polished colonial tone. Others already had the same accents we hear in Zimbabwe today. So we didn’t ‘lose’ one accent, we just had a whole spectrum from the start. But also… why are we so fixated on accents?Guys,
