Freezing basil in ice cube trays 🧊 Don’t tell the pesto… but this perhaps my *top* favorite way to preserve fresh basil from the garden! 🌿 It is SO quick and easy to do, and the resulting basil cubes are so versatile to use. We make tray after tray all summer, store the cubes in reusable freezer bags, and then toss them into the pan with sautéed veggies, eggs, soup, sauce and more all year long.
