And the answer is…. Pollakiuria. Benign cause of frequent daytime urination in young children. Once you’ve excluded all the bad stuff, it’s the only option left. The clues are DAYTIME frequent urination, usually when bored (like sitting at a restaurant!) No pain with urination, no accidents, not drinking excessively and magically better while they are sleeping (or when they are doing something fun.) Great diagnosis that most doctors, even some pediatricians, have never heard about. *not medical
