I do think Alex should have been more sensitive when discussing a movie that centers on abuse and trauma. The way something is said matters just as much as the point being made. That said, after watching the full review and these clips, I don’t think it’s accurate to say he was defending Bear. He repeatedly said Bear’s actions and the way he treated Nicki were wrong.
